We are doing the COOLEST performance tomorrow morning!! We had an unexpected, though certainly welcomed, addition to our schedule this weekend… we are going to be singing to all of the 25,000 runners participating in tomorrow’s Suntrust Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon (and half-marathon) in Washington, D.C. The first stage of many stages along the course is dedicated to vocal harmony so we’ll be alternating sets with another fantastic a cappella group, Snowday.
A big thanks to our coach, Richard, for stepping up to quickly learn the bass part to our tunes… Shana had a prior obligation but the race organizers were more than happy to welcome Richard to the Epic line-up in her place. No, he won’t be wearing our heels. But he does have a matching shirt… so it’s official now. He’s Epic.
We have to be downtown at our stage at 6:30 a.m. (to get into the area with our 25,000 running buddies before they close all the roads down for the race), but we promise not to post any pictures until we wake up. Or at least until the sun rises!
Happy Friday, everyone!
